TESLAMETER AND STANDARD REFERENCE CAVITY (SRC): The solicitation number is FA8601-10-T-0328. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is BRUKER BIOSPIN CORP, Billerica, MA. The purchase is for parts of a system known as an Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR Spectrometer, also manufactured by Bruker Biospin. Parts must be able to interface with each other once installed inside the existing EPR. Only similarly manufactured parts will be able to do this and interface with the EPR controller. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within one (1) day of the issuance of this notice may be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
