Statement of Work for Tensile and Creep Tests of Superalloy Specimens Already Machined to creep2p5in_8rms.

1) Perform 20 tensile tests at temperatures up to 982C per ASTM E21.
2) Perform 20 tensile tests at temperatures of 983C to 1093C per ASTM E21.
3) Perform 20 creep tests at temperatures up to 871C per ASTM E139, with assumed creep lives of 250 hours.
4) Perform 20 creep tests at temperatures of 872C to 1093C per ASTM E139, with assumed creep lives of 250 hours.

Data acquisition files and summary tabulated data to be provided for all tests.
All fractured specimens to not be subjected to final elongation and reduction in area measurements requiring contact of fracture surfaces.

Each separated fracture half to be carefully wrapped separately in paper and then both halves inserted into the plastic specimen tube.

When each group of at least 4 specimens is completed, these specimens would then be shipped to NASA and the test data supplied.
