INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, of quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement. The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA), ATTN CFO-HQ, Bolling AFB, Bldg. 6000, Washington, DC 20340-5100, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source award to the University of Houston, College of Technology to provide a 3 – 5 day on-site Professional Certificate in Foresight training. This sole source award to the University of Houston, College of Technology is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures outline in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5. This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b) - soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deems only one source reasonably available. This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice.
