The period of performance is from January 16, 2012 to July 15, 2012 with a six month optional period from July 16, 2012 to January 15, 2013. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 41 USC253(c )(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 541330. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All submissions and any questions regarding this request MUST be submitted via email to: [email protected] by Sunday, 15 January 2012, 3:00 pm EST. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.
Responses must be submitted as Microsoft Word documents, using Version 2007. The capability statement and any other information furnished must contain sufficient details in order to determine that the forgoing requirements can be met. Each page shall reference Solicitation Number: HSCMES-12-R-00005 and be separately numbered. The submission shall be no more than 5 single-sided, single-spaced pages (excluding the cover page), and use a minimum font of 12 point (Times New Roman) on 8 ½ x 11-inch paper. Award will be made using FAR 15 - Contracting by Negotiation procedures. The determination whether or not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. This information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
