The Texas Department of State Health services (“DSHS”) Division for Community Health Improvement, Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention Section, Tobacco Prevention & Control Branch (“TPCB”) is issuing the Solicitation to engage a Contractor to provide telephone cessation services including enrollment/intake into the Program, culturally appropriate counseling, distribution of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (“NRT”), evaluation and reporting. Cessation services provided by the Contractor must follow an evidence-based methodology and follow national guidelines/protocols established by the North American Quitline Consortium (“NAQC”). These services will be provided in both English and Spanish and will be provided by live, Qualified Counselors throughout the Contract period. Only one (1) entity will be funded through this Solicitation to perform cessation Quitline services.
