Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), a National Laboratory and Federally Funded Research and Development Center (RDC) located in the vicinity of Princeton, NJ and operated by The Trustees of Princeton University, a US Department of Energy Prime Contractor wishes to notify all interested and capable firms of machining and fabrication services to fabricate Toroidal Field (TF) conductor assemblies.
PPPL is soliciting proposals from qualified suppliers to provide all materials and labor necessary to fabricate and deliver Toroidal Field (TF) conductor assemblies needed for the National Spherical Torus Experiment Upgrade (NSTX-U) Recovery Project. Specific requirements for these services can be found in the Statement of Work “New Inner TF Conductor Assembly (with Coolant Channel)”; Revision 0; CAT: A1; Reference Work Planning No.: N/A; dated April 2, 2022.
PPPL contemplates award of a firm fixed-price subcontract. Subcontract award, if any and at PPPL’s sole discretion, will be made to the qualified and responsible Offeror submitting a proposal offering Best Value to PPPL using the low price technically acceptable standard basis for award.
