TOWN OF CASTLETON WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY REFURBISHMENTS CONTRACT NO. 1, RF1-262 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements will be received by the Town of Castleton via electronic mail (email) until 1:00 PM local time on March 15, 2022 at which time the Bids received will be opened and read. The Project consists of refurbishments to the Town of Castleton’s Wastewater Treatment Facility. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids shall be submitted electronically to all of the following addresses:

Bids received electronically past the 1:00 PM deadline will be considered late and thus will not be included in the bid tabulation. Bidders are required to reach out to confirm receipt once a bid has been submitted. A bid tabulation will be released to all bidders within five business days. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on February 23, 2022 at the Castleton Wastewater Treatment Facility at 320 Rte. 30 South, Castleton, Vermont 05735. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Prospective Bidders may examine and/or obtain the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, at a cost of $320.00 per set, plus shipping. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via Bidder’s choice of available delivery methods. Alternatively, Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $160.00, plus shipping. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.
