TOWN OF SCHERERVILLE NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids for the following service for the Town of Schererville will be received by the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, at the Schererville Town Hall, 10 E. Joliet St., Schererville, Indiana until 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room at Schererville Town Hall. MOWING DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project consists of the mowing of Town Property which shall be performed once weekly or as requested by the Town. The tentative start date for mowing will be the week of April 17, 2022 and continuing through October 2022. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor and materials for the mowing of Town Property in the Town of Schererville, IN. Bid shall be in accordance with the description, quantity, terms and conditions contained in the specifications on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, in the terms of this notice and laws of the State of Indiana applicable thereto. Bid documents may be obtained starting Tuesday, December 14, 2021 via email request at [email protected] or a hard copy can be obtained at the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer, at the Schererville Town Hall, 10 E. Joliet St., Schererville, Indiana, 46375. A non-refundable fee of $10.00 is required for each set of Documents. The fee shall be in the form of a check made payable to the Town of Schererville. Bidders shall execute their bids on the forms included in the bid packaged, together with a noncollusion affidavit, and a signed copy of Certification Regarding Unauthorized Aliens, as set forth in the Bid Documents, and remain open for acceptance ninety (90) days following their receipt. Bidders may bid on entire project or individual zones. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. (Local Time) in the Schererville Town Hall Conference Room. All contractors shall be licensed with the Town of Schererville. The Town Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in bidding.
