ADVANCE NOTICE OF UPCOMING SOLICITATION:
This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB) related to the Tracy Substation Circuit Breaker Replacement Project. The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $36.5 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Place of performance will be in Contra Costa County, California.
The purpose of this project is to remove and relocate twenty-four (24) onsite 230-KV SF6 gas power circuit breakers and install twenty-four (24) Government-furnished 230-KV SF6 gas power circuit breakers and associated electrical equipment. Remove existing breaker and breaker foundations and complete all associated foundation and conduit work. Removal, relocation, disposal and reinstalling existing electrical equipment and material. Provide galvanized steel structures, electrical testing, bus systems, grounding systems, conduit systems, insulated conductors, grounding stirrups, junction boxes, cables, and signs.
