Andersen AFB, Guam is seeking information from small business concerns interested in performing transient alert services for the period beginning 1 Oct 14. Please respond with a short (not to exceed one page) statement of interest, capabilities, and background performing transient alert contracts. Please include your CAGE code, DUNS number, and type of small business (veteran-owned, woman-owned, small disadvantaged, etc). At the present time, we anticipate awarding a contract for one base year beginning 1 Oct 14 with the possibility of four option years. However, this requirement is subject to a higher-headquarters strategic sourcing initiative. The contract may not be awarded, or some or all of the option periods may not be exercised if strategic sourcing comes to fruition. It is our intention that once performance of a given period begins (i.e base year or an option year), it will not be terminated early because of strategic sourcing. However, this is not guaranteed and the Government reserves the right to terminate for convenience at any time during contract performance or to not exercise future options.
