SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: This is a request for information only. This is not a request for proposal and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The 902d Contracting, Randolph Air Force Base, TX is conducting market research to determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses to provide Transient Aircraft Services at Randolph AFB, TX. Transient Aircraft Services: Included, but not limited to, ground handling, marshalling, installation/removal of landing gear safety pins, inspecting for hot brakes, utilizing ground chocks, ground wires, positioning and operation of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and fire suppression extinguishers, placing staircases, boarding ladders, and assisting aircrews. When the number of aircraft requiring service precludes servicing at the same time, the contractor shall establish a priority for servicing. Early/late arrivals/departures will require the contractor to respond accordingly. The contractor shall be alert for unannounced arrivals/departures. The intent of this Sources Sought is to identify potential qualified businesses. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, transportation and all necessary items to provide this service. A contract is expected to be awarded. In order to receive an award from any resultant solicitation, the successful offeror must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR). The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov/ . The successful offeror must also have an active Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA). The ORCA website is: http://orca.bpn.gov/. The information provided will be used for planning purposes only. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 488119 , and the size standard is $7MIL. Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide a statement of current capability and past performance information. Sources must demonstrate technical experience on similar acquisitions, specifically addressing the requirements specified in this synopsis and demonstrate the ability to obtain the resources necessary to successfully compete for this requirement.
