Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA), under a Prime Contract for the operation of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), herewith is soliciting proposals to furnish a Transient Photoelectron and Cathodoluminescense Spectrometer (TPCS) – Angle Resolved Photoelectron Spectrometer System.
This procurement is solicited as Full and Open Competition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing; with a business size standard of 1000 employees.
This procurement is for an ultrahigh vacuum chamber outfitted with a temperature-controlled and multi-axis orientation/position controlled sample holder as well as a small spot angle resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES) detector capable of operation-mode-dependent spatial resolution. This equipment is a sub-component of a Transient Photoelectron Cathodoluminescence Spectrometer (TPCS) that will be installed at the Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM) at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL). The spectrometer will be procured by Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA) on behalf of the CNM as part of the Nanoscale Science Research Center Recapitalization (NSRC-Recap) project.
