SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSYS This is a SOUCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS for acquisition planning purposes only and no formal solicitation exists at this time. Therefore, the information presented in this announcement does not obligate Reclamation in any manner. All qualififed concerns interested in performing the proposed project may submit capability statements for consideration. Based upon response to this announcement and capability statements, the Government may determine to set this acquistion aside, proceed with an unrestricted solicitation or decide on an alternate procurement strategy. Statement of Work: The vendor will pick up 1 3/8" diameter scrap copper transmission cable, 10-feet to 20-feet in length, enough to make 250-300 pieces, within a 20% variance of these numbers, from the Hoover Dam Warehouse on the first Thursday of the month. In the event of a holiday it is the vendor's responsibility to make alternate arrangements. The vendor will cut each cable into 3" pieces, cutting one end square and the other end with a 22 degree angle. Vendor will sand & polish each piece and debur outer and inner edges. Vendor will deliver end product to Hoover Dam Vistor Center once a month, on the first Thursday, in containers of 100. All scrap and short pieces will be returned to the Hoover Dam Warehouse.
