4.1 The Consultant(s) awarded this contract shall be required to have a Professional Engineer registered in the State of Florida to be actively in charge of and responsible for the operations, personnel, management, and supervision of the performance of all required services. The certification of all engineering reports shall be made by such Professional Engineer. 4.2 All services shall be performed in accordance with established professional standards for such services. In case of contracted construction projects, all such services shall be conducted in full accordance with the requirements set forth in the applicable construction contract documents. 4.3 Services may include but not be limited to: 4.3.1 Traffic Impact Statements 4.3.2 Simulation Modeling 4.3.3 Traffic Modeling 4.3.4 Intersection Analysis and Design 4.3.5 Transportation Planning and Design 4.3.6 Roadway Capacity and Classification analysis 4.3.7 Signal Analysis and Design 4.3.8 Development of Regional Impact Transportation Study Review Work 4.3.9 Proportionate Share Calculations 4.3.10 Other development related studies. 4.4 Knowledge of all applicable local ordinances, e.g.; City of Fort Myers Planning Department standards, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards, and City of Fort Myers Public Works Department Standards and other ordinances and standards related to the work is required. 4.5 The Engineering Firmâs responsibilities may include the completion of all necessary documents, attending meetings on behalf of the city, and other necessary work or services identified to complete the project. 4.6 The Engineering Firm may be required to work as part of a team and participate closely with other professionals; specifically, City Project Managers and other City and Construction Team members as required. 4.7 All Engineering Firmâs shall hold all State, Federal and County/City licenses required to perform the above referenced scope of work. The Engineering Firm shall ensure compliance with all laws, rules, codes, ordinances,and licensing requirements that are applicable to the conduct of its business, including those of Federal, State,and Local Agencies having jurisdiction and authority. 4.8 The Engineering Firm shall keep all files and records that pertain to the projects until such time as the city deems the project complete. At completion the successful firm will turn over all records to the city.
