Travis and AFB Furniture and Carpet Vendor Fair

This is to announce that Travis will hold a furniture and carpet vendor fair on 16 April 2010 which will be held at the Travis AFB Conference Center (TCC). Participation in this event is restricted to furniture and carpet small businesses and GSA contract holders.

The planned schedule will be from 9am and 3 pm.

The propose of this event is threefold:

1. Provide potential vendors the opportunity to educate potential base customers regarding their products; specifically help customers understand how to describe their requirements utilizing the technical features of the products versus brand names and part numbers.
2. Allow Travis Contracting Specialists to update and broaden their market research prior to the end of year rush.
3. Provide the opportunity for vendors to network with our contract specialists to learn or refresh their knowledge of government contracting procedures.

This event will be limited to the first 25 vendors that respond to this posting providing all the requested information. There is a limit of 3 personnel per vendor due to space constraints.

If your company would like to attend please provide the following information:
• Company Name
• GSA Contract number (if available)
• Main point of contact for those attending
• Last name, first name and middle initial of the three individuals who will be attending
• Working phone, fax number and email address
• Table requirements, you have the following options either two 18" x 72"
or one 30" x 72"
• If your vehicle is larger than a standard passenger van please contact the POC below for additional instructions for arrival. Any vehicle larger than a standard passenger van will be required to go through a separate gate for inspection.
• Include if you will need access on 15 April to setup

All inquiries must be submitted by 19 February 2010 by 1200 PST. This posting will close on 26 February 2010 at 1200 PST. All vendors that have been selected to attend will be notified on 01 March 2010 by either email, phone or fax.

Space is available on a first come first serve basis, all vendors not selected will be held on a standby roster in the order their request was submitted and will be contacted in that order in the event a selected vendor is unable to attend.
