Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source 

The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA), Camp Pendleton, CA intends to issue a sole source contract for Line Item 0001. (15 each)  Hermetic VC Triaxial Accelerometer, Part # 7298-30, and Line Item 0002. (15 each)  25' Cable Assembly, Part # 3907-300 to Meggitt Sensing Systems located in Irvine,  CA  92606

under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (1), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Follow-on Contract." 

This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation.  However, all quotes received will be considered by the Government.  All interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide timely and effective services.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. 

If no affirmative written response is received within four (4) days after publication of this notice, a sole source contract to Meggitt Sensing Systems will be issued.
