The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) has a requirement for a Trimble R10 Real Time Kinematic (RTK) and Trimble Alloy Global Positioning System base station receiver plus accessories to replace existing end-of-life GPS field deployable hardware. The Trimble GPS Systems and accessories must have the following minimum specifications:
GPS RTK System Requirements:
• Base and rover swappable receivers

• 8mm Horizontal / 15mm Vertical precision
• Integrated antenna
• Internal UHF radio for receive and transmit capabilities
• Positioning rates to 20Hz
• Must support following GPS Constellations:
o GPS: L1C/A, L1C, L2C, L2E, L5 GLONASS: L1C/A, L1P, L2C/A, L2P, L3 SBAS: L1C/A, L5 (For SBAS satellites that support L5) Galileo: E1, E5A, E5B, E5 AltBOC BeiDou: B1, B2, B3

• Onboard swappable battery with on time of at least 4.5 hours
• Built in radio modem
• Onboard storage with Bluetooth linkage

Base Receiver Requirements:
