The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS), on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Division of Applied Research and Technology (DART) intends to award a NAME BRAND firm-fixed-price purchase order to a contractor for the purchase of a TruNarc equipment, software, and associated training as described below:


TruNarc Unlimited Model with 2 years of warranty. Includes factory repair, loaner units when available and 24/7 technical support. Companion PC TruNarc admin software, unlimited access to TruNarc eLearning course and free basic software updates to core narcotics library are provided for the life of the instrument.

Thermo TruNarc New Equipment Training, to include advanced hands-on skills stations, reachback and reporting. 8-hours. Up to 25 Students.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for simplified acquisition procedure items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is RFQ #18-Q-69101.

OFFERORS ARE ADVISED AN AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE QUOTE RECEIVED. Offerors should not assume they will be contacted or afforded the opportunity to revise quotes prior to award; therefore, all quotes should contain offerors' best terms from a technical and price standpoint. All quotes must include the name, address, and DUNS number of the business to be awarded the purchase order as well as the name, phone number, and email address of the person who will accept the purchase order on behalf of the successful offeror. Offerors must cite RFQ #18-Q-69101 on their quote.

To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, the offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the purchase order in accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-7. Quotes shall be emailed to Abbie Jemmott, Contracting Officer at [email protected] no later than 4:00pm EST August 10, 2018. No telephonic quotes will be processed. Evaluation and award of responses shall be performed in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 Evaluation of Quotations or Offers and FAR 13.106-3 Award and Documentation. Offerors shall submit any questions to Abbie Jemmott at [email protected].
Upon evaluation of all quotes, the Government intends to award to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror.
