Summary The City of Norfolk (“City”) is seeking a responsible vendor to provide all labor and equipment for forestry equipment services on an as-needed basis according to the terms, conditions, and specifications of this solicitation. All qualified bidders are invited to respond to this Invitation for Bid (“IFB”) by submitting a bid consistent with the terms, conditions, and specifications stated herein. 1.2. Background The City is requesting forestry equipment for tub grinding services, to include equipment and operators. It is estimated that the City will require tub grinding operations four to five times per year for approximately four days at a time. It is estimated that each tub grinding operation will equate to approximately 12,000 cubic yards. This equates to an annual estimate of 60,000 cubic yards of ground wood and other yard waste. 1.3.
