The United States Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000 has a proposed sole source acquisition to purchase Tungsten Carbide parts. The proposed contract will include a base quantity of 300,000 parts. Additionally, the proposed contract will include four (4) option quantities as follows: Option 1 - 500,000 parts; Option 2 - 500,000 parts; option 3 - 1,000,000 parts; and option 4 - 2,000,000 parts.

The Government intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a firm fixed price contract to Kennametal Infrastructure GmbH, Wehlauer str. 73 Furth, Bayern, 90766 Germany, on a sole source basis. The basis for this noncompetitive action is Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B).

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or proposal, which shall be considered by the U.S Army Contracting Command-New Jersey.
