This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-03R6-S-12-0038 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAR 2005-56. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at https://acquisition.gov/far/. This procurement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 441229 and non-manufacturer small business size standard 0f 500 employees. The requirement is for two (2) snowmobiles which will be picked up by Region One USDA Forest Service Law Enforcement personnel. Snowmobile specifications are as follows for Line Item 1: two (2) Skidoo  Summit SP, 800 cc, 154 inch track, E-TEC, Pull Start, and 1 each extra drive belts (total 2). The snowmobiles must be in stock and ready to purchase.

Provisions at 52:212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, availability and distance from dealer to Butte Ranger District, 1820 Meadowlark Lane, Butte, Montana 59701.

In addition, offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the FAR provision 52:212-3 - Offer Representations and Certifications  - Commercial Items. Offeror may print a copy of their ORCA registration to meet this provisions requirements and submit with offer.

The FAR clauses 52.212 - 4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
