The FBI intends to award a sole source purchase order to EMC Corporation , 35 Parkwood Drive, Hopkinton, MA 07148 for 10 (ten) students to attend EMC Navispher ClARiiON training course - FC 4700. EMC Corporation has been designated by the manufacturer as the only authorized EMC training. Training will be conducted at the vendor site. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAR) 2001-07. This is considered a commercial service and is being conducted in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13, SAP as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The NAICS is 611699, and the Business Size Standard is 6 million dollars. This will be a fixed priced contract. Based on FBI market research, it has been determined that EMC Corporation is the only source to meet the FBI requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
