The contractor shall provide the following services to Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth military personnel, Department of Defense Civilians and their Families as part of the Domestic/Partner Violence Awareness/Prevention activities at Fort Leavenworth.
The contractor will present an interactive musical, dance performance play which combines lyrics, dialogue, and music to engage and teach audiences about the pervasive challenges of domestic/partner violence. The play must include powerful and educational artistic performances that incorporate how to stop domestic/partner violence, including information such as: there is no gender, race, religion, ethnicity, social standing, education component, military rank, or age that the audience can put onto the abuser.
The performance must have been successful in supporting the military's efforts to reduce domestic abuse. After each performance, there must be a question and answer discussion with an evaluation to document measurable outcomes. The criteria for the audience is to recognize abuse when they see it, how to respond to what they have recognized, where to find resources for assistance.
The play performance must be based on a platform that engages audiences so they do not return home and forget what they have seen, but instead are empowered to help in preventing domestic and dating violence.
