The Government intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery, Requirements type contract for the instruction of MISHAP INVESTIGATIONS (Ashore) Course, as required by the Naval Occupational Safety and Health, and Environmental Training Center, Norfolk, VA. The MISHAP INVESTIGATION (Ashore) course is designed to provide full-time safety managers/officers, safety professionals and collateral duty personnel at ashore activities with the training to understand the purpose of mishap investigations, utilize mishap investigation/prevention techniques, and report the results of these investigations as well as understand the requirements for headquarters’ investigations and activity-level investigations. The period of performance is from the date of award for one full year with four (4), twelve-month option periods. Training services shall be performed at a variety of CONUS and OCONUS locations. This procurement is a small business set aside procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 611710. The solicitation number for this procurement is N00189-06-R-0001 and will be released on or about 03 November 2005. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
