The Regional Contracting Office SW is soliciting quotations to provide pyrotechnic, special effects, and role player support in support of a scheduled exercise that is to be held at Ft Irwin during the timeframe of 10 March 2008 through 27 March 2007. The pyrotechnics required are items such as simulated RPG's and simunition (TM), the special effects include native dress and foreign weapons. The role player support required is for personnel who speak Pashto or Dari. The Government is soliciting this requirement as a small business set aside under the NAICS 611519 with a size standard of $6.5M. This acquisition is be solicited utilizing simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items under the authority of the Commercial Items Test Program in FAR 13.5. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract as a result of quotations received in response to this solicitation.
