COMMUNICATION AND DATA DIRECTORATE (TRAINING) Solicitation Number: M67399-05-Q-0002 Description Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to CLAPP Research Associates for the acquisition of Electrical Engineering Training. The contract will be for the National Safety Code Training for the period September 19, 2005 through September 21, 2005 and Loadings and Strengths for Joint-Use Wood Pole Lines for Telephone and CATV Utilities Training for the period of November 15, 2005 through November 16, 2005. This proposed contract action is for training for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and a capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose! of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no responses are received that warrants a competitive procurement a contract will be awarded to CLAPP Research Associates.
