THIS IS NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA) The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards FB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price contract, to the Society of Experimental Test Pilots (SETP). P.P. Box 986, Lancaster, CA 93584. This symposium is to broaden professional relationships through the sharing of ideas and experiences, which promote and enhance safety, communication and education. It also educates the prevention of accidents and loss of life by improving safety, design and flight test of aerospace vehicles and their related systems. Its goal is to provide a forum to disseminate information to those in the aerospace industry for the benefit of all aviation users. This symposium is to support the curriculum at the United Stated Air Force Test Pilot School (USAFTPS) as well as educate members of the 412th Operations Group, located at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that thy can meet the Government?s requirement. Responses shall be limited to 15 pages and should include, as a minimum, (1) evidence of past experiences; and (2) related projects and/or existing systems inc. Anticipated Award Date is 24 Aug 2007 with contract performance beginning 27 September 2007. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on the posed close date. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. However, the Government will consider all responses received before the due date published on this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. All respondents are reminded of the required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) requirement and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered eligible for any potential Department of Defense contracts.
