The 18th Contracting Squadron at Kadena AB, Okinawa Japan intends to award a purchase order for specialized training services for tactical confined space and structural collapse rescue in a combat environment. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and will be based on competitive quotes. The contractor shall provide all management and labor necessary to ensure training and certification is received for confined spaces and structural collapse rescue by the 320 STS squadron at Kadena AFB, Okinawa, Japan for a minimum of 10 days. This course provides training for DoD personnel to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to safely enter and conduct operations in a tactical Confined Space and Structural Collapse (CSSC) environment. - Security Classification: Unclassified - Location: Kadena AB, Japan - Suggested Course Date: 10 - 18 Jul 06 - Course Length: 80 hrs 1.1. Basic Services.
