The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) seeks information on vendors that are capable of providing a Ultrafast Spectroscopy Laser System that comprises of a Ti:sapphire modelocked laser pumped by a high power green pump laser, followed by an optical parametric oscillator (OPO). The Ti:sapphire laser shall provide tunable pulses from approximately 700 nanometers to 1000 nanometers. This laser will be used to pump the optical parametrical oscillator, gaining access to wavelengths below 500 nm and up to 1600 nm. This announcement is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future. No solicitation is available at this time. The purpose of this synopsis is to identify organizations with the requisite qualifications to meet the requirements of the item stated herein.
