THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO CONTRACTORS UNDER N00164-08-C-GP14. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to issue a modification to increase the quantity from 50 each to 100 each on option CLIN 0015 of contract N00164-08-C-GP14 currently held by Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc. This increase will cover the additional quantities needed during the last option year for Hydrophone Windows. The quantity increase is necessary to meet current production requirements established by the SP24 Program Office. This contract action will be issued utilizing other than full and open competition procedures under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), One Source or Limited Sources. An offer will be solicited from Ducommun LaBarge Technologies, Inc., 1505 S Maiden Lane, Joplin, MO 64802-1210. The proposed quantity increase is for Hydrophone Windows which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). It has been determined that the Government requirement for these items can only be met by one manufacturer due to the contractor having unique qualifications to provide these services.
