SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory plans to issue a Request for Proposals for a 2.3m long undulator magnet for installation on the SPEAR3 3.0GeV storage ring in the summer 2011. The required magnet is an Apple-2 type, four row, pure permanent magnet, elliptically polarizing undulator with at least 31 full strength poles. The magnet must produce horizontal linear (15-150eV), vertical linear (25-150eV), and left/right circular (7-150eV) polarized photons.
