The USITC anticipates award of a Purchase Order, on a sole source basis, to the Centre of Policy Studies at Victoria University(CoPS), Melbourne, Victoria 8001 Australia. The U.S. Applied General Equilibrium (USAGE) Model is a mathematical model that has been used at the USITC for over 14 years in the analysis of trade policy. CoPS at Victoria University(formerly at Monash University) has been the principle design developer of the model's dynamic analysis of the effects of trade and other policy changes such as, tax investment and labor markets. The objective of this solicitation is to 1) Continue refining and extending the disaggregate USAGE Model, 2) Examine alternative approaches to industry projections, and 3) Continue examination of the effects of changes in the U.S. and global energy markets. The anticipated period of performance is twelve(12) months from the date of award.
