Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.  DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, therefore, please do not submit requests.  Approved source for this item is Bell Helicopter Textron, Cage 97499. Any manufacturer, other than the approved sources, who will like to submit a proposal on this item, must submit a complete source approval package (SAR).  This solicitation will result in a firm fixed-fixed price contract.  This is requirement is for 87 each, New Cumberland, PA (line 0001) FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. The required delivery is 257 days ARO.  This is a Critical Safety Item.  PIPPRS applies.  The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.  All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.  This is a letter Request for Proposal (RFP) IWA Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA).  A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS).  Sole Source per (FAR 6.302). A copy of this solicitation will only be available to requestors by contracting the buyer directly.
