The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central intends to issue a sole-source contract to Beckman and Coulter, Inc to Provide Cost-Per-Reportable-Result (CPRR) contract for an Automated Urine Analyzer; which includes equipment, service and consumables for the laboratory department located at EACH. This urine testing includes both chemistry tests and microscopy tests and the analyzer must be capable of providing vitamin c testing.

The sole-source contract will have a performance period of 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2020; Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract and 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, will also be included in the contract to be used if necessary. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument. The Small Business Administration's size standard for NAICS 334516 is 1,000 employees.

The solicitation number is W81K00-18-R-0022, and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 2 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
