The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii intends to issue a solicitation and resulting sole source firm fixed price contract for the IRIS IRICELL urine chemistry analyzer and reagents at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii. The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source to Beckman Coulter. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for a period of performance from on or about 01 October 2017 through 30 September 2018 (base and two (2) one-year option periods).
