The Contractor shall perform SPALT Kit Development, Installation and Checkout. Specifically, the Contractor shall write a SPALT 30361 Document for correction of issues discovered during the SSI Increment I SPALT 30285 i installations. It shall contain instructions for installation and verification testing.

The contractor will package and deploy a SPALT kit and perform SPALT 30361 on four (4) UK SSBNs, and three (3) UK Land Based Facilities. Include  in this effort are the predeployment planning activities such as a POA&M, Memos of Agreement (MOA), coordination with  site Navy/Contractor personnel for installations, development Tagout planning and processing of WAF documents.

Negotiations will  be  conducted  with  General  Dynamics Advanced  Information  Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA.  GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
