NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

 The General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Assisted Acquisition Services Division (AASD) has received a requirement from USAFCENT/A2, Shaw AFB, SC for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Technology Support.

 The Government intends to award a sole source task order for this requirement to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), 8301 Greensboro Dr. #290, McLean, VA, 22102-3608, in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

 This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes.  However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirements stated in the attached technical requirements document may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports their ability to deliver the required services.  Capability statements shall be received no later than the response date and time of this notice.  Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement.  A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed task order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This requirement will start on 01 September 2013, and employees need to have Top Secret clearance at time of award.  In your response, please indicate the amount of time you need for transition.
