USAID intends to issue a solicitation for a U.S. Personal Services Contract (USPSC) for one (1) Elections and Political Processes Funds Management and Program Support Specialist, at the GS-12 equivalent level for USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG), Office of Elections and Political Processes (EPP).

The Specialist serves in the EPP Office within the DRG Bureau. EPP provides budget and program management support for EPP technical staff working /supporting elections and political processes and democratic political transitions to USAID field Missions and Washington bureaus, other U.S. Government entities, and the broader DRG community. The EPP Funds and Program Support Specialist works as a member of the DRG/EPP team supporting USAID’s DRG portfolio of activities. The support provided to DRG/EPP staff includes but is not limited to: designing and managing systems and databases to track, monitor, and oversee appropriated funds uses; in support of EPP technical staff’s work, duties will include facilitating meetings and working groups; drafting and editing documents, reports, and presentations; and conducting research. The EPP Funds and Program Support Specialist provides this support, via Washington-based and limited temporary duty (TDY) assignments.

The duration of the contract period is anticipated to include a two (2) year base period with three (1) one-year option periods for a total maximum possible period of performance of five (5) years.
