This notice is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Center (SFLC), Norfolk, VA - Ice Breaker Buoy and Contruction Tender - Product Line (IBCT-PL) for the purpose of conducting a Market Survey for a potential award of a contract for Dry DOck Repair Service for U.S. Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) KANKAKEE (WLR 75500).  USCGC KANKAKEE IS A 75 foot Class River Buoy Tender in service with the U.S. Coast Guard's 8th District and home ported in Memphis, TN.

The Applicable NAICS code is 336611 SHIP BUILDING AND REPAIRING with a Size Standard of 1,000 employees.  For the calculation of annual receipts and number of employees see parts 121.104 and 121.106 in SBA's Small Business Size Regulations, http://www.sba.gov/regulations/121.  All Small businesses may submit offers, which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard.

Dry Dock Repairs Specification - (Subject to change at the discretion of the Government).  Contractor shall provide all necessary fcilities, materials, equipment, and personnel for dry dock repairs to USCGC KANKAKEE (WLR 75500).  All work will be performed at the contractors facility.  The vessel is geographically restricted to an area no greater than 650 nautical miles (nm) from the cutter's home port and no open water transits.
