The Office of Food for Peace (FFP) in the U.S. Agency for International Development's Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA) provides grants for food assistance to private voluntary organizations (PVOs) and the UN World Food Program (WFP). FFP provides both emergency food aid (which aims to address food aid needs arising from natural disasters, such as floods or droughts, and complex emergencies often characterized by insecurity and population displacement) and nonemergency food aid (which aims to address the underlying causes of chronic food insecurity). The Office seeks a Program Team Leader to develop and improve the solicitation and program guidance specific to the Office of Food for Peace's IDA-funded Emergency Food Security Program. The PSC will facilitate the receipt and review of proposals under the program and oversee the implementation of emergency food assistance grants awarded under the program.
