The successful candidate will have strong applied nutrition program implementation experience, including experience in maternal child health, infant and young child feeding, dietetics, and ration design. The majority of this candidate's time will be spent on activities related to FFP Title II Emergency Food Aid Programs. The PSC will be able to provide technical and programmatic guidance to Food for Peace (FFP) staff in both Washington and in the field on nutrition program design, including ration design, development of nutrition-sensitive agriculture programs, and monitoring and evaluating nutritional outcomes. The PSC will be assigned to the Technical Team of the Policy and Technical Division, and be responsible for proposal review and implementing efforts to improve the nutritional impact of food assistance through new and effective programming working closely with Private Voluntary Organizations (PVOs), the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), and UNICEF.
