The purpose of the first solicitation amendment was to include an attachment that was not included in error (Attachment J-5). The purpose of the second solicitation amendment is to post the answers to RFCs (Attachment J-12 Request for Clarification - Questions_REDACTED) and extend the closing date to 11 October 2022 at 12:00pm. The purpose of the third amendment is to shift the PoP from 05 December 2022 through 23 December 2022, to 12 December 2022 through 06 January 2023.

The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF) detachment Everett, Washington, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract(s) to accomplish Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV) 3A1 of the USS GRIDLEY through the completion of the work items included in attachment J-1.

This acquisition is planned to be set aside 100 percent for small businesses that fall within the 1,250 size standard, under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336611 Ship Building and Repairing and Product Service Code J999 (Non-Nuclear Ship repair West), maintenance, modernization, and repair, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.502-2 Total Small Business Set-Asides.

The period of performance for USS GRIDLEY is scheduled to be December 12, 2022 to January 06, 2023.

Prospective offerors must have previously executed either a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) or must possess and provide the documentation necessary to show qualifications to perform the work required to execute the award.

All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive award of Government contracts. Offerors are advised also that SAM representations and certifications can be completed electronically via the System for Award Management website at https://sam.gov.
