The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) has a requirement for
the purchase of paint coatings and related products and an Original Equipment Manufacturer
(OEM) technical representative to the US Navy Fleet for an Underwater Hull Paint Preservation
on the USS James E. Williams (DDG-95). The underwater hull painting will include the
accomplishment of underwater surfaces, Keel to Upper Boot Top Limit, including each scupper
extension, bilge keel, skeg, fairwater, sea chest/associated strainer plate, grating, appendage,
rudder, rudder stool interior and exterior strut, each interior and exterior surface of strut barrel
and stern tube barrel.
