This procurement will be for the purchase of services providing feeding (to include food, labor, supplies, transportation and services) of enlisted personnel assigned to the 916th Air Refueling Wing and the 414 Fighter Group (tenant) on Unit Training Assemblies (UTA) during the 4th Fighter Wing (host) Eagles Landing Dining Facility (DFAC) renovation beginning in July 2018.

APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY:

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). A sources sought was originally posted on 13 July 2018 and received 3 responses. The 3 companies that responded did not meet the needs of the Government, such as having a facility located within 4 miles of SJAFB. K&W Cafeterias, Inc. is the only company who meets all the requirements.

Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 4 October 2018 at 2:00 P.M EST.
