The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) requires the services of ambulance service to provide safe and comfortable ambulance transportation, on as needed basis, Monday through Sunday, 24 hours a day, including holidays, from and to the front doors of apartments or houses and other areas. The contract period is from May 1, 2003 through April 30, 2004 and four (4) option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 621910 with a size standard of $6.0 million. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The solicitation will be issued on March 7, 2003.
