This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposal. This Notice is to identify Certified 8(A), HUBZone, Women Owned and Veteran Owned Small Business vendors who are able to provide commercial ambulette services 24 hours, 7 days per week to the Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System (VANJHCS)(385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018 and 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, NJ 07939) and their six (6) Community Based Outpatient Clinics (New Brunswick, NJ 08901, Jersey City, NJ 07302, Elizabeth, NJ 07201, Trenton, NJ 08611, Hackensack, NJ 07601 and Brick, NJ 08724). Vendor shall furnish Wheelchair Type vehicles (Medi-Coachs). Services shall include vendor having an established facility(ies) in operation for at least one (1) year where ambulette units are housed and dispatched from a location within a thirty (30) mile radius of the VANJHCS' installations. Intended contract to be awarded on/about January 1, 2004.
