PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The 49th Contracting Squadron (49 CONS), Holloman AFB, New Mexico, anticipates issuing a solicitation on or about 26 Feb 2003 to provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to provide moving of office furniture and equipment within and between various facilities located on Holloman Air Force Base. Items to be moved include but are not limited to desks, chairs, tables, file cabinets, refrigerators, bookcases, storage cabinets, office machines, hearing booth and safe. A SITE VISIT has been scheduled for 4 MAR 03 at 1:00 PM local time, Offerors will meet at the 49 th Medical Group Building 14, on Holloman AFB and then proceed as a group to view the areas where performance of work is to be performed. All offerors are required to notify the 49th Contracting Squadron via fax or email AT LEAST ONE DAY prior to site visit of their intentions to attend for the purpose of securing necessary paperwork to present to the Security Forces Visitor Center to obtain Base passes. [email protected]. Offerors should allow sufficient time on the date of the site visit to obtain passes in order to meet at the appointed time and place. This acquisition will be solicited as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 488999 ($6M). Once available, this solicitation must be downloaded from http://www.fedbizopps.gov, as no paper copies will be issued. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the Solicitation and Statement of Work. Anticipated offer due date is 14 Mar 03. The Government contemplates award to be made around 18 March 03 and performance start in April 03. The resultant award will be made on an all or none basis. This notice serves as a preliminary notice and does not obligate the government to award a contract, restrict the government in its ultimate acquisition approach, or obligate the government to pay for proposal cost.
