Notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to the Adams Mark Hotel in Dallas, Texas for conference space, audio/visual requirements and catering services for a conference of approx. 300 individuals. The 300 conference attendees are booked to lodge at the Adams Mark Hotel in Dallas, TX. Due to logistical reasons, the conference must take place at the same location where the attendees are lodging. The Adams Mark Hotel will not allow any other company to come in to provide catering or audio/visual services which therefore, makes this requirement a sole source. This proposed Contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to be used for consideration of future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soliely within the descretion of the Government.Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competative procurement. Any vendor who wishes to submit a proposal for future consideration should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Robert Sieferman no later than 4:00 PM EST, Friday, March 2, 2007 @ [email protected].
