The Department of Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS), 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48105 is hereby soliciting offers to provide lodging for eligible veterans in need of treatment at VAAAHS. These accommodations will be paid for by the VAAAHS for those eligible veterans who may have to travel long distances the day before or the day after a scheduled appointment. Only patients normally discharged to their home will be considered for lodging. Hotel/motel shall be located within a ten (10) mile radius of the VAAAHS. The VAAAHS anticipates entering into a fixed price Multiple Award Contract with two or more contractors providing the best value to the Government. Contract awards will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price proposal that meets or exceeds the acceptability standard for non-cost factors. NAICS Code is 721110, size standard is $30,000,000.00 The contract will be for a base period, and contains a clause for four (4) one-year option periods. To be considered for award, the contractor shall provide pricing for the base year period, and for all option year periods.
