Solicitation 8004-11 provides helicopter flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs fire suppression program at Ute Mountain Agency, Towoac, Colorado. The Helicopter will be based at Towoac May 21, 2004 through July 24, 2004 (65 calendar days). The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option for two additional years. The contract requires one light turbine helicopter (206L-III or equal) The Contractor shall possess a current Federal Aviation Administration, Air Carrier or Operating Certificate and be certified under 14 CFR, Part 133 Rotorcraft External Load Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations.
